I am part of a forward-thinking healthcare community with skill-set to prevent and manage the numerous factors impacting overall health and risk for chronic diseases such as diabetes, obesity and metabolic syndrome.
I graduated with honours (top 10%) of my medical school cohort from the prestigious University of Melbourne in 2011. Prior to my medical degree I completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biomedical Sciences. With this education I hold a comprehensive understanding of human biology.
I have worked across multiple major tertiary hospitals in Victoria to complete my basic and advanced physician training . Working in some of the biggest and busiest hospitals in our country has allowed me to get a breadth of experience and learn from distinguished clinicians.
I am data-driven and my research interests are geared towards refining how we can better deliver healthcare for complex chronic disease. My research is investigator-led, community-driven and collaborative. I have university and tertiary hospital affiliations in Brisbane and interstate. For a list of publications click here.

If you believe you have an endocrine condition that has not been optimised, you can request your local healthcare provider to complete a referral to an endocrinologist of your choice.
If your current care provider believes you have an endocrine issue that is beyond their scope of practice, they would consider referring you to an endocrinologist for specialist medical opinion and management.
Endocrinologists are medical doctors who are required to complete annual continuing medical education and professional development in order to meet requirements of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. They are registered medical practitioners with the Australian Health and Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). They have significant overheads including room, software, registration, insurance and education fees that need to be covered privately.
